New: Instagram paste-link tagging only matches products already in a Meta catalog.

New Instagram paste-link tagging

Why your LTK link won't tag on Instagram

Instagram's new “Add Products > paste link” flow only tags a product that already exists in a Meta commerce catalog. LTK links point to LTK's own storefront, not a Meta catalog entry — so no matter how many times you paste the link, there's nothing there for Instagram to match against.

Works with your own Amazon Associates tag, LTK, and ShopMy. No app review.

Why it fails

Why native tagging doesn't work for LTK

Meta's catalog-tagging rollout is currently live for Facebook with Amazon as its first retail partner in the US, and Instagram support is announced as "coming next" per Meta's own blog — not yet confirmed live. In both cases, the retailer has to have pushed structured product data into a Meta commerce catalog ahead of time. LTK is a creator storefront, not a retailer with a Meta catalog feed, so an LTK link never has a matching catalog entry to tag — regardless of whether Instagram's rollout reaches you yet.

How Numbish fixes it

From pasted link to a catalog-ready feed, without touching Commerce Manager until you upload.

  1. Paste your links

Drop in the LTK links you already share with your audience.

  2. See eligibility

We check each product against Meta's catalog rules and flag what's blocking it.

  3. Get your feed

Download a Meta-ready product feed you can upload to Commerce Manager.

Make your LTK links taggable

Paste the links you already share. See what Meta will accept, fix what it won't, and download a feed you can upload today.
